CONGRATULATIONS !!!
2005 TOM Awardee
Jose "Pepe" Abesamis

Architect Jose B. Abesamis AR 1964
Civil / Structural Designer
Fluor Canada

Architect Jose B. Abesamis graduated from the Mapúa Institute of Technology with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Architecture in 1964. He passed the board examiniation on the same year. In the early 70's, he accomplished what he aspired for. He was able to form and manage a successful architectural and construction company. Within a year, Jose, his wife and kids left the country for good.

It was here that Jose experienced jobs he never dreamed of doing. It was all hard work, an eye-opener for those who needed a splash of harsh cold reality in the face. Still, even as life proved to be full of measly paid entry level drafting work and part time jobs, Jose's focus was left intact. It was then that Jose and his wife decided to try something else. His knowledge went from building materials and on to edible ingredients. The embodiment of his dream had shifted into a thriving bakery cafe business, which prepared one of the tastiest cakes and luscious breads around.

Congratulations !!!
